Dear parents and community,
As a school, we are so excited and deeply committed to make a positive difference in the lives of your children and Navajo community. Along with our team of highly qualified professionals, we will impact the lives of our students. We will accomplish this by setting high academic expectations for all the teachers, students, and staff; providing a safe learning school culture; and assuring students receive rigorous, research-based and data-driven instruction towards college readiness.
It is our goal at Piñon Accelerated Middle School (PAMS) that our students advance to the next performance level reaching 100% academic achievement. By addressing the school culture, setting high standards for teacher performance, increasing academic expectations for all students, and engaging the Navajo community at the same time.
We are pleased to share some of the exciting and outstanding programs at PAMS. Our school offers a variety of academic offerings including honors and advanced placement courses with a rigorous curriculum aligned to the AZ Common Core Standards.
We embrace the challenges of the 21st century while we continue to cherish and celebrate the traditions of a rich Navajo heritage. Our remarkable staff, involved parents, and committed students come together to make PAMS a wonderful and unique place.
On behalf of our staff, we are looking forward for an academically successful bright year full of hard work, excitement, and dedication in order to improve PAMS academic achievement. It is our priority to involve the community, parents, and students for a better professional learning culture for a successful school year!
